The vertical jump test measures a players leaping ability. The player stands flat
footed with no steps beside the pole with a multitude of plastic sticks (VERTEC)
The player jumps and tries to hit as many of these sticks as possible. The vertical
jump height is calculated by subtracting the standing height from the highest height
achieved while jumping.
The VERTEC is a precision jump testing and training instrument. It is designed to
allow for unihibited jumping with full approaches and arm swings.
